I enjoyed attending the Meet the Candidates Public Forum at
Jackson County Community Building and was sponsored by the League of Women Voters. LWV always does a great job on candidate forums. The two hour event featured question and answers from candidates for Mayor (3); Candidates for City Recorder (2) and Candidates for City Council (15 I believe). Many of the folks running have been friends. Met some new people tonight. But must admit, the City of Vienna is VERY fortunate to have EXTREMELY CAPABLE candidates seeking office.
