THANK YOU

THANK YOU TO THE 7146 VOTERS I RECEIVED IN THE 3RD SENATORIAL DISTRICT

OF WOOD-WIRT-RITCHIE AND PLEASANTS COUNTY. THIS WILL ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE TO SERVE ON THE WEST VIRGINIA STATE REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (WHICH IS A VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

I was honored to attend the annual memorial service in memory of Wood County Fire Fighters who have passed away over the past year. The service is conducted by the Wood County Fire Fighters Association.

When I was a police officer, I had the experience of having to enter a live burning building twice. It IS SCARY !!!! I have always respected and admired those who serve as fire fighters…..especially those who volunteer to do so.

Wood County has ten volunteer fire departments and they risk their lives every time they respond to a call for help.

An old saying about police and fire. “We may have worn different

uniforms, but we played on the same team”.

I salute and support our fire fighters!

Rick Modesitt loves to help people!

As long as I can remember, I have been a volunteer of one organization or another, dating back to my high school days…..which led me to becoming a Police Officer, and then to other opportunities in life. In short, I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE. I LOVE PUBLIC SERVICE. I believe an elected official should be engaged and involved in community events, activities and causes. If elected, I plan to do just that. I won’t be a Commissioner that spends 6 hours a week in the Commission office and not to be seen or heard from in the community. I pledge I will work for our community! I will be involved.

VOTE MAY 10 in the Republican primary!

IN GOD WE TRUST!

Today a fellow friend in law enforcement posted info where the Haven Kansas City Council and Mayor chastised the Police Chief and ordered him to REMOVE the phrase “In God We Trust” from the back bumper of their police cars. My opinion is simple…..now more than ever we need God’s protection over our police officers. They have been under attack for the past two years. Just today the national Fraternal Order of Police announced National Police Week agenda in Washington DC for May 15, where they will honor 563 officers who have fallen in service to others during 2021.

I pray that God looks over our police, our first responders, and our military …..always!
